CWG Centre of London
(Conversations with God)
March 2006 Update
The CWG Centre of London is a group of people who are interested in
exploring the concepts presented in the series of books, Conversations
with God, An Uncommon Dialogue written by Neale Donald Walsch.
Our discussion groups are open to everyone. At present, we are
running a "CWG Book 1" discussion group on Tuesday night from 7 to 9,
and a "New Revelations" discussion group on Thursday night from 7 to
9. The
meetings are held at Bishop Cronyn Church, 442 William Street at the
corner of William and Queen's. Donations are accepted and are
optional. Newcomers are always welcome.
The discussion groups are held in the spirit of sharing our beliefs and
thoughts in a safe, supportive environment. One of our core
agreements is that each person walks their own path and holds their own
truth. The purpose of our discussion is to share ideas, not to
argue or convince others that ours is the only truth. We come
together to share and to learn from each other.
The Conversations with God books provide a very interesting and
thoughtful analysis of the way that we relate to ourselves, each other,
our world and to God. Many people recognize the ideas in these
books as ones they already held, but had never voiced to anyone.
The concepts are sometimes controversial, but always thought
provoking. The CWG books, of which there are 10 or so, have been
translated into dozens of languages and have sold several million
copies around the world.
One of the central ideas of the CWG books is that you have a personal
relationship with your creator, and that this relationship is the basis
of deciding what your truth is. Another idea is that every
thought you have creates an experience, and that life works best, when
what you think, say and do, is in alignment. All answers can be found
within you, with the help of your connection to God. God's
support for you is loving and truly unconditional. These books
help us to understand how our lives sometimes (perhaps, often) end up
differently than we intended, and how we can remedy that, if we choose.
