FEDA for One District
The normal price for a single user, single district download, including the 2008 40th General Election update
is $349. However, as a special offer during the election, we will discount this price a
full $70 to $279. That's a savings of 20%! Initially, we planned to hold this price until election day.
We have now extended this deadline for EDA's to Tuesday October 21.
We regret that we cannot extend this pricing discount past this date.
In addition, for this special sales price, we will include two bonus features, not normally included in the base package. First, we will include a special by-election package which shows the results for the London North Centre by-election in 2006 which pitted Elizabeth May of the Green Party against Glen Pearson of the Liberal Party, who won the election. We have included this because it is one of the more interesting by-elections in the last few years.
Second, we will include a full map of the electoral districts of Canada, and the summarized results by riding. You can zoom in and look at any part of Canada to see how the ridings line up, and how they might be affected by surrounding ridings. Look at the same kinds of ABC analysis, or areas of growth and decline, as you would with a regular map. There are hours of fascinating analysis available to anyone who has an interest in politics in Canada.

FEDA Professional Edition
For the power user, we have put together the professional edition package which includes all 308 ridings in Canada, plus the two bonus packages, Canada and the London North Centre by-election. In addition, the Canada map is linked so that a single click on a riding will open up the detailed poll map for that riding. Of course, this package includes updates for the 2008 40th General Election when the poll by poll results are released by Elections Canada.
This package has so much data that you have a choice between downloading about 150 MB of information, or we can send you a CD by priority post. Please indicate which mode of delivery you prefer.
You might expect to pay 300 times the price of a single riding for this package, but for the duration of the election we will offer the FEDA Professional Package for only $7,900 plus applicable taxes. This is an incredible savings of over 90% off the price of individually purchased packages. Once again, the Professional Edition includes all 308 ridings, results from 2006 and 2004, updates for 2008 when available, Canada summary map, and the special by-election bonus.
This special offer will not be extended past October 21.
